Location: Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of Hotels, the 4 star Hotel Sol Puerto Playa is situated around 150 metres from the Playa Jardin beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north West Coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Facilities: Built in 1992, the modern Hotel Sol Puerto Playa has a total of 190 guest rooms, including 176 standard twin rooms and a further 14 singles, which are built over 8 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

Rooms: All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

Meals: The hotel's main restaurant offers extensive buffets for breakfast and dinner.


Sports/Entertainment: Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
